Lessons Learned: Faculty Describe PBL Experiences

In the first meeting of the semester, faculty described their experiences with implementing Project Based Learning. Below are videos that are part of a growing video library of examples of projects that Middlebury faculty have incorporated into their classes. The next PBL Community of Practice gathering will be on Thursday, March 10th from 12:15pm-1:30pm in the Mitchell Green Lounge.


Professor Pam Berenbaum, Global Health Program, describes a public health project in coordination with local groups.


Professor Anne-Marie Magri, Professor of the Practice: Finance and Enterprise Management, describes a finance project in her first year seminar, How Money Makes the World Go Round.


Professor John Isham and Professor Diane Munroe discuss their project for community solutions in the capstone course, Community-Engaged Environmental Studies Practicum.


Professor Karin Gottshall describes her interview-based project for the first year seminar, The Poetics of Lullaby.
